SPCC Recreational Association

In conjunction with the opening of our swimming pool in 1987, the College Council established the SPCC Recreational Association to promote extra-curricular activities and provide an all-round education for our students.

SPCC Recreational Association is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the swimming pool. This includes recruiting swimming coaches, running swimming courses for both our secondary and primary schools, and conducting training sessions for the swim team in preparation for the inter-school competitions. The swimming pool is also open to our alumni and ordinary members during holidays and specified non-school hours in the morning and afternoon, from Monday to Saturday.

The SPCC Recreational Association arranges a wide variety of sporting programmes like table-tennis, football, basketball and badminton. It also provides courses on a number of musical instruments, Putonghua courses, computer courses, ballet classes, calligraphy classes, ceramic classes, Chinese painting classes and preparation for the Mathematics Olympiad.

Courses are conducted by experienced professionals and are designed to enhance student's physical strength, skills, discipline, creativity and interpersonal skills.
