The Information Technology Office (ITO) at St. Paul's Co-educational College was established in Fall 2003 to provide leadership in application of information technology to fulfil academic and administrative needs of the College.
Headed by the IT Director, ITO offers a single focal point with responsibility for IT policies, strategies and projects in line with the mission of the College, in addition to providing end user support and consultancy services to the students and staff members. With this institutional improvement, the College will be in a better position to implement necessary systems and applications to support the delivery of quality education to our students through the use of proven technology as a key enabling tool.
The establishment of the ITO provides a streamlined structure for delivering the IT function for our students and staff members, and facilitate the College to take a proactive and leading role in championing IT applications. It is a major step in our endeavor to transform our College into a learning community that ensures progressiveness and continuous improvement, and harness the benefits of the use of IT in education. |
