SPCC X HKU X Mark Hayes: #WhileIBreatheIHope Video

Following the #StayHome&MakeMusic video which generated much positivity and heartwarming sentiments in our community and beyond, the College is proud to present another blockbuster video – #WhileIBreatheIHope, which hopes to spread love further and farther through music. Both of these videos have now kickstarted the LoveHKLoveU campaign presented by the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

Curated by the College’s Music Director, this latest video features renowned American composer, Mr. Mark Hayes, along with student representatives from the Treble and Senior Mixed Voice Choirs as well as alumni, staff and Council members of the College and Primary School. The College wishes to express its gratitude to all these St. Paulians for their contributions to this meaningful cause.

This video is dedicated to all healthcare workers who worked selflessly and tirelessly to keep us safe during this pandemic.

Prayer Chain for HKDSE 2020

14 Apr 2020

The current Covid-19 pandemic and the postponement of HKDSE exams are causing great stress, discouragement and uncertainty for our DSE students. Hence, the Grant Schools Council has started a prayer chain for the 2020 HKDSE Examinations to be held smoothly as planned from 24 April 2020. We wish to invite all of you to join us in prayer on 18 Apr, 29 Apr, 10 May, 21 May and 25 May.

The prayer items include:

  1. The epidemic situation in HK
  2. The decision and arrangements of EDB and HKEAA
  3. The wellbeing of all F6 DSE students
  4. The protection from Covid-19 and smooth operation of the exam centres
  5. The strength of all personnels (EDB, HKEAA, schools, teachers, students) involved in the HKDSE exam

Besides praying on your own, you may also share this prayer chain request with your family, colleagues and friends, and invite them to pray with you at an agreed time.

Matthews 7:7 says "Ask and it will be given to you; Seek and you will find; Knock and the door will be opened to you." In this very difficult time, let's all learn to put our trust in God, search for His wills and walk with Him everyday in our life. As we have His own promise, He hears our prayer and He is always here for us. We are never alone.
