SPCC X HKU X Mark Hayes: #WhileIBreatheIHope Video

Following the #StayHome&MakeMusic video which generated much positivity and heartwarming sentiments in our community and beyond, the College is proud to present another blockbuster video – #WhileIBreatheIHope, which hopes to spread love further and farther through music. Both of these videos have now kickstarted the LoveHKLoveU campaign presented by the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

Curated by the College’s Music Director, this latest video features renowned American composer, Mr. Mark Hayes, along with student representatives from the Treble and Senior Mixed Voice Choirs as well as alumni, staff and Council members of the College and Primary School. The College wishes to express its gratitude to all these St. Paulians for their contributions to this meaningful cause.

This video is dedicated to all healthcare workers who worked selflessly and tirelessly to keep us safe during this pandemic.

SPCC in the Telegraph (News)

16 Jan 2020

Recently, St. Paul’s Co-educational College made international news when The Telegraph (UK): “Revealed: The schools which send the highest number of pupils to every Oxbridge college” published lists of the schools receiving the highest number of offers from Cambridge and Oxford colleges between 2017 and 2019. Amongst many other high-achieving schools in the UK and around the world, SPCC was listed as the leading school for sending the most students to Magdalene College, over the past three years.

The data reveals the success of the most selective and academically rigorous schools from around the world. SPCC is one of only two Hong Kong schools recognised for its track record to Oxbridge. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work that SPCC students put into their university applications.

As opportunities for studying abroad expand, SPCC is seeing an increase in interest among students when it comes to pursuing university studies overseas. The process of applying to overseas schools requires preparation and dedication from applicants and we are pleased to see SPCC students achieve encouraging results in their examinations and receive excellent offers from top universities.
