Introduction
St. Paul's Co-educational College has been serving the community since 1915 by educating talented students from a wide social spectrum. With its conversion to a Direct Subsidy Scheme (“DSS”) school, SPCC is determined that no qualified student would be deprived of receiving a quality education at SPCC due to financial reasons. The school is committed to a need-blind admission policy and a quota-free fee remission scheme is in place to provide financial aid to needy students. Moreover, a variety of scholarships and bursaries are also available.
Fee Remission Scheme
Since it converted to a DSS school in 2002, the school has put into place a quota-free Fee Remission Scheme to ensure that SPCC would not turn into a school only for those who could afford to pay the tuition. Below are the key features of our Fee Remission Scheme:
- Quota free: There is no restriction on the number of students to enjoy fee remission as long as they meet the scheme requirements
- Need-blind admission: The admission process and the Fee Remission Scheme are independently administered. We have a need-blind admission policy which means financial capacity to pay school fees is not considered by the school during the admission process
- Simple application procedure
- Generous eligibility criteria

Additional Financial Assistance from Government
Although SPCC has converted from an aided school to a DSS school, students continue to be eligible to apply for the Textbook Assistance Scheme and Travel Subsidy Scheme operated by the Student Financial Assistance Agency of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
