Prince Philip Scholarship

2024年 9月 11日

The Prince Philip Scholarship Scheme was founded in 1981 by Dr. David K.P. Li to enable talented students from Hong Kong to study at one of the world’s greatest universities, the University of Cambridge. Named in honour of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the scheme has been funded and managed by the Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong since its inception, ensuring that exceptional students receive full financial support for their undergraduate studies.

This year, three St. Paulians were offered the Prince Philip Scholarship, and this photo features our scholars who attended the award ceremony at the Hong Kong Club on September 10th, 2024. From left to right, we have Professor Stuart Martin, Senior Tutor and Professor of Pure Mathematics at Magdalene College; Kam Ching Lam, who will be reading Economics at Queen's College; Jenson Andrew Tham, who will be studying Medicine at Magdalene College; Ms. Christy Liang, Director of Further Studies at St. Paul's Co-educational College; and Dr. David K.P. Li, Founding Chairman of the Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong. We congratulate all our awardees on their remarkable achievements!
