SPCC X HKU X Mark Hayes: #WhileIBreatheIHope Video

Following the #StayHome&MakeMusic video which generated much positivity and heartwarming sentiments in our community and beyond, the College is proud to present another blockbuster video – #WhileIBreatheIHope, which hopes to spread love further and farther through music. Both of these videos have now kickstarted the LoveHKLoveU campaign presented by the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

Curated by the College’s Music Director, this latest video features renowned American composer, Mr. Mark Hayes, along with student representatives from the Treble and Senior Mixed Voice Choirs as well as alumni, staff and Council members of the College and Primary School. The College wishes to express its gratitude to all these St. Paulians for their contributions to this meaningful cause.

This video is dedicated to all healthcare workers who worked selflessly and tirelessly to keep us safe during this pandemic.

Message from the Council Chairman

Dr Moses Cheng

It is my great honour to be appointed by the Archbishop to serve as the Council Chairman of St. Paul’s Co-educational College. I accept this challenge with humility, and look forward to working closely with the Council members, alumni, teachers, staff, parents and students with a mission to cherish the unbroken tradition of the pursuit of excellence. We shall continue to celebrate the power of unity and harmony in the St. Paul’s family.

Founded by the Anglican Church of Hong Kong in 1915, St. Paul’s takes pride of its academic excellence and provision of a quality whole-person education to our students. We provide ample opportunities for them to develop their individual potentials and motivate them to become future leaders for the local and global communities.

The strong value system which St. Paul’s Co-educational College inculcates in our students is evidenced by the invaluable contributions made by our alumni to Hong Kong and the world throughout the years. We shall continue to fulfil the mission in education by the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui to promote the ethos of Christian whole-person education.

We share God’s love and the Gospel with all at St. Paul’s, and help students set goals with meaning and purpose basing upon Christian values and the Anglican traditions.

May St. Paul’s Co-educational College continue to grow from strength to strength under God’s divine guidance. Perpetuating the spirit of ‘Faith, Hope and Love’, we go forth in nurturing and mentoring our students and embarking upon more enriching education initiatives.
